Paola Quaranta

She graduated in Chemistry at the University of Pisa in 200, and obtained Qualification in Chemistry. In 2004 Paola Quaranta obtained a master in “Environmental Management and Control” at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa and in 2010 a PhD in Surgery, Immunology and Biotechnologies of Transplant at Department of Oncology of Transplantation and New Technologies in Medicine at the University of Pisa. In 2009, Dr. Quaranta contributed to the European Research Project “NINIVE”, Non Invasive Nanotransducer for in vivo gene therapy, at the CRIM Laboratory, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. Since 2010 to 2012 Dr. Quaranta was a Post Doc Research Fellow in New Technologies in Medicine at Department of Oncology of Transplantation and New Technologies in Medicine, and since 2012 to 2018 she was Post Doc Fellow at the Retrovirus Centre, Department of Translational Research and New Technologies in Medicine, University of Pisa. Dr. Quaranta is currently a technician at the University of Pisa and she works with Prof. Mauro Pistello since 2012. Dr Quaranta published 13 scientific papers and collaborated on the writing of several research projects.
