Tiziana Schmidt

She got her BSc in biological sciences at the University of Pisa (Italy) and completed her MSc studies in biological sciences at the University of Constance (Germany). Tiziana Schmidt worked on several projects in the context of cellular and molecular biology and has gained experience using Drosophila and mice as model systems. She completed a traineeship in the group of neurobiology of diabetes (Helmholtz Diabetes Centre, Munich, Germany) under the leadership of Prof.Dr.Pfluger, where she finalized also her master thesis. At present she works as a research fellow in the nanomedicine and molecular biology lab of Prof. V Raffa.
